Freycinet Walk 3 Day trip 2 nights cabin accommodation


Freycinet National Park is located on the Eastern coastline of Tasmania.  Over three memorable days we discover the pristine beauty of the secluded bays, white sandy beaches and sheer granite cliffs.  The area is easily recognisable with its turquoise waters, orange granite headlands and the striking peaks of the hazards appearing to rise out from the ocean.  Highlights of this area include Wineglass Bay and the isolated Friendly beaches.  During our day walks to explore this area, you will carry a daypack only.  In the evenings you will return to your cabin accommodation, where delicious meals are prepared for you.  Join our guides as they lead you on a journey to discover the magic of exploring the serene and spectacular Freycinet area.

 

Itinerary

 

Day 1        Depart Launceston and travel to Douglas Apsley National Park and the East     Coast (half day walking)

Day 2               Explore Freycinet National Park Wineglass Bay and the Isthmus Track to Hazards Beach & Lemana Lookout and a full day of walking.

Day 3   Weather permitting we have the opportunity to walk to the summit of Mt Amos, the most prominent summit of the Freycinet Peninsula, an alternative walk is to explore the remote Friendly Beaches then Return to Launceston.
