FLINDERS RANGES & HIDDEN GORGE WALKING 3 Day 2 Night

Walk the Flinders Ranges and get a taste of this magnificent wilderness with this 3-day, 2-night walking tour. Explore the Southern Flinders Ranges, with hikes through Alligator Gorge and Mount Remarkable National Park.

Hidden Gorge lies in the Mount Remarkable National Park, amidst some of the most spectacular scenery in the lower Flinders Ranges. It is a small rugged area cut by the Alligator and Mambray Creeks, which have eroded deep, spectacular gorges into the red quartzite.

There are towering red cliffs, secluded waterfalls, ferns, and groves of native pines, sugar-gum forest and ribbons of mighty river red gums along the watercourse. Picturesque waterholes attract native birds and the rare yellow-footed rock wallaby.

The diversity of habitats supports a greater abundance of wildflower than can be seen in the Central and Northern Flinders Ranges walking.
