Because of entire old country roads and pathways that offer unique experience to hikers. Mediterranean vegetation, breathtaking views over the last group of Adriatic islands-Elaphite, Montenegrin high mountain range, Prevlaka and the gate to bay of Kotor. You will meet friendly local people when visiting the small villages, with Dalmatian stone architecture and enjoy delicious Mediterranean food. Walking Profile Walks are guided, moderate and anyone of reasonable fitness can participate. The tour begins with easy walking in lower Konavle (flat area) and continues next day on hilly area from about 80 to 300 meters. The altitude is every day higher and the highest is from 700 to 1234 meters (on the mount Snjeznica). Our aim is that everyone feels fit before climbing Sjeznica. Therefore, first days are easier walking in lovely landscape, with small villages, cypress grows and sea view.
Itinerary Day 1: Granada Arrival, transfer from Dubrovnik airport to Konavle. Get together dinner with introduction. Short tour to the nearby surrounding, depending on arrival time. Limestone villages, friendly local people, lush Mediterranean vegetation and pleasant climate of Dubrovnik Countryside give it a special charm. Day 2: Lower Konavle Mocici-Cilipi, hiking tour on the marked pathway. Visit the Mytra encarved stone. Our pathway takes us through the picturesque village, dense Mediterranean forest, olive and wine groves. The scene of the lovely village of Konavle with the majestic Mont Snjeznica on one side and cypresses and black pine groves on the seaside is unique. Day 3: Obod - Velji Do-Strazisce-optional: Jesenice Today we tour Upper Konavle, hilly region, by old Austrian road that will take us to small village of Velji Do, known for hard working people and delicious home made food. The tour continues to the top of Strazisce, where from one can see three countries: Bosnia, Montenegro and Croatia. The view is breathtaking: sea and the islands on one side and the mountain range with small villages on the other side. Day 4: Dubrovnik This day is reserved for the mount Srdj and Dubrovnik. Climb the road with serpentines, enjoying the view over Dubrovnik, its Riviera and the islands. After hiking, visit to Dubrovnik - fascinating medieval city, the Pearl of Adriatic. Day 5: Upper Konavle From Mihanici to Kuna on the mountain pathway, visiting the old narrow gauge tunnel and the villages of Mihanici and Kuna. Day 6: Kuna - Snjeznica By now, you will be fit and ready for the king of Konavle mountain - Snjeznica (1234 m high). Our minibus will take us to Kuna (700 m) and we depart on an old road to Belvedere, east side of the mountain (900 m high), with fascinating view, the crisp unpolluted air will make you feel great Day 7: Free day in Dubrovnik Day 8: Departure, transfer to Dubrovnik airport.
Mountains The walks offer breathtaking view over the largest group of Adriatic Islands - Elaphites, Montenegrian high mountain range, countryside region of south Bosnia and Herzegovina. The peaks are: Srdj (415); Strazisce: 700 m, Kuna 700 m Snjeznica 1234 m - above sea level. Departure points are from 100 meters to 700 meters.
Accommodation & Transport During the tour we stay in small family owned hotel in village of Uskoplje (Konavle region, about 20 km from Dubrovnik). Rooms are large and comfortable, with AC/heating, satellite TV, internet access. Each of the rooms has a private bathroom with hot shower. All transfers by minivan are included in price.

DUBROVNIK Dubrovnik (Croatia) has a population of 43,770 (2001).
